Essential Products-  2016 to Present  
Head of Industrial Design
Joined Essential Products, Andy Rubin's new technology startup, as Head of Industrial Design and fourth employee. Currently leading the design efforts of the company's entire hardware portfolio. Within one year, shipped both the Essential PH-1 flagship smartphone and the 360 degree camera accessory. Day to day responsibilities include:
- Building a cohesive physical design language that is differentiated from competitors but also speaks true to Essential's core values and objectives. 
- Visualizing the look and feel of hardware concepts in 2D and 3D
- Driving core decisions on colors, materials and finishes
- Trend research and forecasting
- Collaborating with engineering and product development to bring products from concept to prototype, and ultimately, to production
- Working with manufacturers in Asia to ensure design intent while balancing product quality and yield
- Creating consumer-facing brand, marketing, and sales assets
- Leading a small, but growing team of in-house industrial designers
- Holding down the fort 

Playground Global-  2015 to 2016
Senior Designer
Playground is a $300 Million fund for the sole purpose of backing entrepreneurs envisioning the future of the connected world through software defined hardware. Provided startups with Industrial design support as well as brand and visual identity. Enabled startups to successfully navigate the hardware development process, which, in the beginning, is a foreign language to most tech entrepreneurs. 

Motorola Mobility-  2011 to 2015
Senior Designer
Joined Motorola’s Consumer Experience Design team following college graduation. As lead designer, was responsible for supporting all aspects of product development, from concept discovery to final production. Job function required daily interactions with engineering, program management and other cross-functional teams. Traveled frequently to multiple regions of Asia in order to provide on-site production support at local manufacturers and suppliers. Also contributed as a mentor for summer ID interns by generating project assignments, weekly reviews/critiques, and general guidance.
Was promoted from Junior to Senior designer after 2.5 years of joining the team. Most recently helped launch the 2015 Moto G, the third generation of Motorola’s highest selling smartphone device.

Motorola Mobility-  2010
Participated in key research and design development of multiple programs, focusing specifically on CMF (colors, materials, and finishes). Responsible for weekly market trend analysis, laboratory color testings, and an in-depth personal project. 

Nanda Home-  2010
Worked in conjunction with Gauri Nanda, founder of Nanda Home and the original developer of Clocky. Was involved in the discovery phases of new, potential products for Nanda's expanding portfolio. Delivered unique product concepts, form development, and emerging technology research. 

The Little Tikes Company-  2009
Joined the Ohio-based company as a designer for its iconic, American-made toys. Collaborated closely with the model shop, sales, and marketing teams to design next-season toys as well as future blue-sky concepts.
